A gang of wayward Cave Swallows photographed on Reflection Pier at Lake Drummond in the Great Dismal Swamp NWR on Nov 22. Cave Swallows are normally found in Mexico, Texas and the Carribean. However, some seem to routinely wander in the fall to the northeastern U.S. They can occasionaly be seen in Virginia, especially along the coast as they make their way back down south.
